What is Sunburn?
Sunburn is a condition that occurs when the skin has been overexposed to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. Light skinned people have the highest risk of getting sunburned but skin of any colour can be damaged by the sun's rays.
Sunburn occurs more slowly than other types of burns and is identified by redness, pain and possibly blisters. Continual exposure to the sun over long periods can also cause problems later in life from premature aging to certain types of skin cancers. Steps to Prevent Sunburn
Preventing sunburn is definitely better than cure so when spending time in the sun always be sure to:

- Avoid spending time in the midday sun
